The Blue Wings was found by our Tea Sommelier, Jaineet Kaur Aneja as a tribute to the rich tea tradition of India and a unique journey of tea from the tea gardens to your cup.
"When I was discovering myself in teenage I realised I love meditating. I learnt that when it's difficult to meditate, you can create your moments of mindfulness into the day through simple activities like brewing and enjoying a cup of tea. As I started paying attention to the details like the shape and colour of leaves, the aroma, the feeling, the taste, I grew fonder and fonder of Tea and decided to dedicate my life to create a ‘Tea Culture’ in India."
"Considering the fact that most of the premium quality teas from Asia are being exported to the Western countries, re-packed and then sold in our Indian markets at a considerably higher prices. This makes premium quality teas inaccessible to most people. We are striving hard to make these available and to bring a revolution in Indian Tea drinking”- Jaineet Kaur Aneja.
The Blue Wings is a pack is a unique piece of art. Our teas are made from 100% premium Single-origin whole leaf teas. Our teas are blended using efficacious all-natural ingredients.“I will not sell anything that I would not drink at home.” This commitment to accept anything but the finest teas is our primary term.
Since most of the brands in the market are selling tea bags which are known to contain dust and fannings, making your teas taste bitter and rough.
We are primarily dealing in Whole leaf teas. Whole-leaf tea means tea that’s primarily made up of whole, unbroken leaves. When you steep Whole-leaf tea, it has room for tea leaves to absorb water and expand as they infuse. This allows the water to flow through the leaves and extract a wide range of vitamins, minerals, flavours, and aromas from the leaves.
We owe it to the hard-working women who spend their hours selecting and plucking leaves from tea plants so they can be dried and used for processing premium quality tea. We feel proud to be working with them because in every sip of tea, lies the hard labour of these women. We are grateful for each and every one of them.
